Hannah Lake is situated in Zarghoon Range, Urak Valley, about 18 km away from the city of Quetta in Balochistan, Pakistan. Balochistan is home to some of the most beautiful places in Pakistan. The most beautiful lake of Balochistan is none other than Hannah Lake. From Islamabad to Quetta, it takes approximately 954 km and 17 - 18 hours of  distance. It is surrounded by mountains and pine trees.

The perfect escape for the locals and holiday lovers in Balochistan is Hannah Lake  which was constructed during the British Colonial Era in 1894 as a fort to store water. This reservior was constructed to save the rain water coming from the cheltan hills around.

The water level of Hannah Lake is going low and low and the future of Hannah Lake is also in danger. But Hannah Lake Development Authority (HLDA) has been taking serious steps to repair its condition since 1976.
