It was a wonderful visit to Lake Saif-ul-Muluk..! Saif-ul-Muluk lake with its majestic and enchanting beauty, attracts thousands of tourists from all around the world...and of-course Lake Saif-ul-Muluk deserves to be visited by everyone! It was just wao!!!

Lake Saif-ul-Muluk: Location

The Lake Saif-ul-Muluk is located in the Mansehra district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Lake Saif-ul-Muluk is one of the highest alpine lakes of Pakistan. Lake Saif-ul-Muluk is a famous tourist attraction of the Northern areas of Pakistan.There you can find large brown trout fish and about 26 species of plantas.

Lake Saif-ul-Muluk: Malika Parbat
Malika Parbat, that is known as the highest peak in the Kaghan valley, also exists near the lake. So you can have the marvelous view of Malika Parbat from the Lake Saif-ul-Maluk.

Lake Saif-ul-Muluk: Depth

The depth of this lake was difficult to find out as the local people of that area can't tell us exact depth of this lake. But after searching about its detail, according to a recent survey on the alpines lakes of Northern areas of Pakistan, the depth of lake Saif-ul-Muluk is about 50 feet... but who knows!!

Lake Saif-ul-Muluk: Best Time to Visit
The beautiful lake that looks more beautiful in winter but access to it in winter is quite difficult due to heavy snowfall, So best time to visit it in between May to July.

Lake Saif-ul-Muluk: Story Behind

The story associated with this lake is about a legendary prince named Saif-ul-Muluk who fell in love with a fairy princess named Badri-ul-jamal (glory of the moon). But the interesting thing about their love story was that prince find her in his dreams ...He saw her in his dreams many times and fell in love with her and started his journey to find her... and finally after facing so many challenges on his way to his love he met her on this  beautiful lake.

First thing to do is to hire a jeep to go to Lake Saif-ul-Muluk. The journey by jeep would be full of enjoyment and adventure. You have to take a lot of selfies with that Fairy lake. Next thing to do is to hire a boat to go to the opposite side where you'll find place to slide in ice .... that is of-course fun for fun-loving persons. Our boat was quite decorated and the other special thing about our boat was the high volume music and the dance of our yachter...  and the most important thing that should not forget,is umbrella with you... because it can rain at Lake Saif-ul-Muluk ...hahahha!!!
